COMBAT DRIVERS ASKS FOR COMBAT INFANTRYMAN’S BADGE AND COMBAT PAY

Dear YANK:

…We drivers were led to believe that we were to receive the Combat Infantryman’s Badge due to the fact that we are under constant enemy observation and artillery fire. We also haul all of the rations and ammo for the boys on the front-lines. If it weren’t for us, where would the boys get their supplies? Our main question is, what the hell do we have to do to get the combat badge and pay?
